just wondering if it is possible to put front forward controls that attach to the engine guard? This bike is so much more comfy with my feet up on the highway pegs, and i feel like switching from the standard to the forward controls would be a great idea, but at the same time, never seen one done on a goldwing yet.

Welcome from Socal,, You could check on sportsters foward control to get an idea for the right side and on wings that have floor boards for the left side as to check the heel toe shifter mechanisim .I think It could be posible(why not?).haven't seen them on a wing myself but thought about it also a few times with the difference being on keeping the oem pedal & shifter as well.So it could be posible to use on two different leg position when needed. :laptop:

well with goldwings having such wide engines, there would be no way to secure it to the frame. if i could find a good one that i could mount to the engine guards, then id be set.

Forward controls are something that just never caught on, who knows why.

There is a guy that makes or made them.
He's listed here in the forums somewhere or try a Google search.

Found the link:

You could try emailing or calling jim's customs and inquire about your needs,i'm sure he could come out with something to suit your needs.

Good work!!! you've found universal controls and at an affordable price.you might need some extras to fit the bike but nothing you can't find at a hardware store. :clapping: :clapping:

I am running 1000 ignition on the head but still have 1100 fitted as a back up in case of breakdown - I just flip a switch between either setup. I built in this redundancy because I had a failure a few years ago whilst touring the Highlands of Scotland and had to limp 20 plus miles on 2 cylinders over some mountain tops.
