Fuel Runner seal

Hello,

I am putting a 82 GL1100I back together. I am in the process of putting the carbs back on and was wondering if that o ring is really the only seal that is needed when connecting the fuel runners (or manifold as some call it) to the head.

Yes, the manifold o'rings are all that seal the manifolds to the head, I use a light sealant to hold them in place while mounting, something like gasketsinch or weatherstip adhesive.
