Shouldn't keep ya from riding, tho, if you just keep an eye on mileage.
My gauge tends to flake out every now and then due to a loose connection under the seat. I just watch the mileage to know when it's time for fuel when that happens. :yes:

Most of my bike are sans fuel guage. I just fill up between 100-150 mile on the odometer.

I'm not stressing over the sending unit right now since the bikes not even street legal right now. The sending unit got pushed WAY down on the list of things to do. Even once she's on the road (fingers crossed for next month) the sending unit will be later on down the road.

No harm in trying to fix it. You could try some epoxy made for fixing fuel tanks.
