Wasn't sure which thread to post this on so decided to start a new one. :headscratch:

Dug though my pile of manuals and found the Haynes manual #393 WEBER CARBURETORS. To 1979. Not sure that even pictures are going to help me learn some of this stuff to any degree but interesting reading so far. On their original equipment jetting chart I found a listing for a UK Escort GT with a 1098cc engine. Also a 1298cc version. Both of these use a 32 DGV model carb.

Also found a line drawing of a carb manifold layout for a V4 engine that could be a GL engine. Interesting stuff.

Time to fire up the scanner!
Yep, sparrow is sending that manual to me :thanks:

Some similarities to the one I found on the 75. Actually it would be an easy one for me to build and heat. Wonder if downsizing the runners would be needed with twice the volume going through each one? So many ideas and so little time.

LD was a pioneer in single carb concept and took a terrible verbal assault for trying to bring an answers to oldwing fuel system
I'm sure we feel the same about the morons that do that kind of crap! Is LD still around? I imagine he'd love to see what you are doing here as a justification to his efforts.
