Well, it has arrived - The Little Ice Storm they said was coming...HMMMM....it's been sleeting and freezing rain since 9 am this morning, TERRIBLE STUFF, i know some of you get alot more of this stuff, and it did snow here 22 inches a couple years ago...BUt Gee WiZZ...that is creating more problems for these non experienced drives here on icy roads. They just don't get it. :beg: Be Safe. Now My Other half has got to stay here with me for the next several days. Anybody Got a Good Plan...Please Advise... :help:

Be nice don't fight. If it's any consolation the ice will be here tomorrow and all the drivers here will drive as though they've never seen a wet road let alone ice. It happens every year.

Ditto on what slabghost said suppose to get snow here on Sat.

Took me 2 freekin hours to get home this evenin(40 miles)....what a bunch of :sensored: morons....
Roads only slightly wet....some places bone dry...5mph....aaarrrrrrgh!
The worst is/was farther west in Ft. Worth, and to the North of me. Thin ice on the windersheild when I got ready to come home, but not hard ice...scraped of easily in seconds. Tomorrow might be a different story......

Okiehoma got the worst of it around here, looks like....

Get this....I saw TWO bikers on the way home, riding in this crap!! One was a late model 1800, the other a crappy "sport" bike.... :Doh2:

well today here its 25 degrees and raining ice pellets...nope not going anywhere today ...but im sure one of the neighbors out here will slide down the hill right in front of my house ... and I will be out to help them ... sheesh i think they plan it that way .....

I think I'll stay here in SoCal for a while. It's been in the 30's the last few nights, but 50's and 60's daytime temps. C'mon out! People here are wearing jackets in 60 degree weather, and they look at me like I'm crazy in a t-shirt.

I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time relating to this thread. :hihihi: :hihihi: :hihihi:

low blow :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: I am at 6-8" and totally struck at home ...snowing hard ... it will take tracks to get to me soon .....pretty much a white out with no wind at all...it is what it is...

I'm kinda jealous of you guys getting some real weather.
Here in So Cal we get just the cold with no snow unless we go up to the mountains.
I wouldn't mind being stuck at Joe's place a few days.
