I'mma getting some floorboards/heel-toe shifter set-up for the 1500. 'Spensive, but so is getting a toe broke between the pavement and foot peg....I keep jammin my toes into the ground on left turns on the 1500....eventually something's gunna grab hold, and snap off....and Imma bettin it WON'T be the footpeg. Plus, my big giagantor boots are too thick to fit properly between the footpeg and foot shifter...it's gotten me into a bit of trouble more than once, not being able to up/downshift quickly.
So....floorboards it is!

:yahoo:
New floorboards are in Ft. Worth! They'll be here tomorrow....yipppiiiiieeeeee!! :yahoo:

Sure am! But I gotta wait until Christmas mornin to find out. :hihihi:
Looks like I got me some '82 OEM decals for the whole bike! Time to finally repaint to Cosmos Black Metallic! :yahoo:

I have been slowly acquiring NOS OEM emblems over the last few years. I have new side cover "GoldWing" emblems, new Eagles, faux tank side emblems, top emblem for the tank and a new OEM lock for the gas lid. The only emblem missing NOS or just new is the front fender emblem.

Your bike already looks beautiful Gerry.
I can only imagine how good it will look with new paint and bling! :clapping: :hi: :salute:

I am looking forward to it! The next step is saving the money for the paint job. I have not decided whether I am going to do it or have a shop do it. The correct paint is not cheap and I am not a painter.

Never Joe!! :smilie_happy: I greatly appreciate your ingenuity! I can assure you, I do not think outside the box too much on my bike. But I know mine will never be able to contend with Hooch! (Now, that '82 Standard you had was real sweet!)

I don't dare buy anything for just one and not for the other two. Kinda like having three girlfriends, I guess. Not that I have any first hand knowledge of that situation.
