Any possibility the front tire was installed backwards?

I double-checked and it is installed the correct way.

The front tire is bias belted the rear bias.

The rear tire should be replaced soon. Should I get a Bridgestone...?

Thank you,
Armin
Tires vary by compound, manufacturer and tread. Matched pairs are usually the best performing. Nothing is set in stone though. Logically another Bridgestone excedra should give better handling. I'm interested in what you find.

I've had mismached, Dunlop 404's, and now Bridgestone S11's

Mismatched just sucked.

D404's track grooves terribly, and the rear always felt like it was about to wash out in even mild turns.

Ahhhhh, the Bridgestone S11's. The front ignores even the deepest grooves I encounter here(Vegas roads suck), and the rear is solid as a ROCK! in the turns. Get these, I promise you'll thank me.

Hear me now and believe me later.

I still think I would be checking the rotors for warp weak brakes could be a sign of that. Low air pressure and the anti-dive could also cause that.
