GL1500 Front fender is cracked

Be careful when you take the top middle pieces off on both sides, those tabs can break easily.
Yes, I saw that last night when I took the screws out. Not the best way to hold it on but okay.
I put it all back together today (the instrument panel & fender screws) & took it for a ride.
Maybe I'll pull the wheel & fender off next week.

I'm really mad I did take pictures but I found out that I just had to pull the front half of the fender off to repair it. There is a brace that holds the front & back halves together. I used Q-Bond & someone before me tried to repair it by using a soldering iron or something like that. And they put pieces of a paperclip in a couple of places so I just put the Q-bond on top of them for more support. I'm still kicking myself for not take pix. Sorry :useless:
But I did repair one side cover with Q Bond & I took pix of that repair job.
I'll post that repair shortly.
