Good to be Home???

I got a call from the forensics dept today informing me that they had my car and wanted to find out what items were mine in the car. I don't have the details yet but apparently they have at least one grub and hopefully will be able to come up with some more ( honour among thieves etc). Today would of been the day that the insurance company wrote off my car, so I have mixed feelings only time will tell what it has been through ( nice female forensics officer " Did it have a stereo?" ) Ruth's car hasn't turned up yet ? So maybe they will write it off, hard to replace as it was her first new car in 26 years and it is now 6 years old.

It's a step in the right direction, at least! Around here, if that had happened to ME, the police would tell me, "Well...if ya happen to see any of yer stuff anywhere, be sure to call and let us know"....
That's pretty much what they told me when someone broke into my storage building and stole everything..."Not much we can do, but if you happen to see any of it out there anywhere, let us know"..... :rant:
