i was looking on craigslist earlier and forun a '79 wing for $650. yes it needs work but after emailing the guy he tells me he found the bike in a building in ohio that his company had to clean out so he has no title. got all excited for nothing

i know a guy that bought an ohio bike with no title, he tryed to get a michigan title but ste dmv wouldn't let him get it. so he ended up with a very expinsive but good looking bike in his garage for years until he parted the bike out

No paperwork, No Deal....NO exceptions! Unless yer just looking for a parts supply, that is.
That guy should have put that info on the CL page...up front....bummer indeed... :crying:

I am sorry to hear that! In NJ, if you can provide the VIN, DMV is able to verify the last listed owner on the title. They will not issue a new title until it is proven the bike is not stolen, but at least you get a chance to find the PO and prove they sold the bike. Lot of work, but sometimes it works out.
