Greetings Gentlemen,
I have been lurking for some time while in negotiations for my latest bike, It's a 1981 GL1100 Goldwing Std with a Honda Fairing.

It has 18,046 original miles, but was always ridden, and meticulously maintained by the original owner. This is what has been done in the last two years:
Radiator flushed, new water pump, and stat
Brake mc's rebuilt, and brakes flushed
carbs rebuilt and synched
New timing belts, and valves adjusted
new starter, and original as well. problem was the off/run switch
new battery
Fresh oil and filter change
All manuals, receipts and original Honda Goldwing cover.

For the grand total of............. $1800 :yahoo:

I would not have considered a bike as old as this without resources such as this forum, and all of the members knowledge of these old classics

Regards,
Greg

Thanks a lot for the kind comments. I have looked at quite a few of these before I found this one, most for more money and worse condition.

the tank shelter does not have "Honda" lettering. I thought all standards had Honda on the tank.

The PO did not like the Honda on the tank and fairing at the same time, he thought it was redundant. He took them off, but I have them if I want to reapply them.

Regards
