They are aftermarket I believe, the site where I got my trunk had something simillar if not the same bags.

Welcome aboard Cal.Nice looking bike. Do you have two? You say it's an 83 in the pictures but list your "Ride" as an 82. :whistling:

Welcome your bike looks good. I like the black with the red stripping, that's how I'm going with mine so far I've only done the side covers and front fender, because they needed replacing when I got my bike and I didn't want to paint the whole thing while I was getting it road worthy.

These things can be confusing.....I was riding a 1983 Standard a few weeks ago and now it is a 1980 Interstate! Why????? I swapped frames....I had to register it as a 1980 bike since that is what the frame VIN says....but everything else is a 1983 Standard....go figger?! You cannot look at my bike and say what year it is....only that it is a GL1100. :fiddle:

Makes me wonder how many other old bikes are like that...
