If you want to ride NOW,use thee plug from your stator bolt in the diff,and tape over the stator whole.
Order a replacement off EBAY and replace the stator plug when you can. GO RIDE

I had the identical problem with the same size plug for my stator. I am very picky about my stuff and that is a defective casting. I bought what I thought was the right one off E bay...too big. I bought mine from a local salvage shop, took the pieces in and got a match for $5.

Use P/N 12361-300-000 when shopping EBay.
