Where the brackets mount to shock for side bags should this spacer be here? Also I can't get the bracket bolted back up that goes around seat and holds up fender. Any tips ? Seems something isn't right here.
Thanks

Yes the spacer has to be there. On mine the bar that holds the rear fender is next to the shock behind the spacer. It's a bit of a battle getting all those bars in place.

Thanks ... Rode most of the day and nothing fell off so it's all good..I really like the look and I have under 150 in bags, brackets and paint. Sanding sucked but wasn't bad over all.

I cheated on paint I sanded them down wiped with thinner then sprayed with Bedliner paint. Stayed in garage last night till everything was painted. Got up early this morning and put them back together and mounted them. I like the bed liner paint it bonds good and hides and flaws. Also easy to touch up.

Better looking indeed :music: You could throw on a trunk rack in the future
Looks great .... I'd keep it the way it is .. trunk rack will not make it look better ..

I like the way it is too. Most likely going to buy a loaded goldwing this winter . After all you can't have to many bikes. I only have 3 in the garage now. This bike really impressed me .
