This June I got my 1200 out and found that my rear braked needed work.
Started bleeding the line and then found a leak at the Master Cylinder. So started tearing in to the bike to get the master cylinder off.
At the same time I was working on getting my 78 wing project on the road. So I put the 1200 off for a bit.
Well I finally had the time to work on the 1200 again and what I thought was caliper rebuild and a master cylinder rebuild turned into some thing else. Couldn't solve my problem as the air was out of the rear brake line and still no brakes.
Today I remembered that What about the front brakes ... Right side is connected to the rear. Stupid. Bleed the right front and guess what ... I now have brakes .. I wasted a lot of riding time thinking I had a worse problem. Oh well Autumn will be fun riding.
