Hello all! I'm a new member, but have lurked around here a bit while redoing the GL, and the NGW site. I just finished and put on the road my Candy Tangerine bike and I'm having alot of fun with it. If anyone is a goldwinger around Kerrville, TX, I'd like to meet some other riders. Good day to you all!

:thanks: Hey thanks. Love the old bikes and this is the fifth old Honda I've owned and kept on the road. It is the first GL I've totally redone. Former bikes were CB fours, all sizes. Here's a couple more pics.

Welcome, nice Wing.
Fellow Texan here, Kerrville is way better riding than anywhere around here nice area, enjoy.

Hey thanks for looking at the pics. I didn't paint the color, but I did the layout and scheme. I bought the paint, House of Color, and then took it to a painter in Dallas who does MC parts along with my parts to paint. I did the prep and prime. They shot the Metallic silver base, then the Decals were added. The next step is transparent candy color followed by clear. Last I laid out rally stripes and they shot those in Matte black. I painted all the frame and other parts, along with the engine block. I shot all that engine in, with very careful masking. All told I spent about 400 on paint all in. I would take the engine out next time.

Welcome from Southern California! Ahhh...Kerville...neat part of the world! My brother worked at the crippled children's camp for several years (we're from El Paso), and we enjoyed the Folk Festival many times! Nice work on the Wing!

yep, Steve83, this part of Texas is my favorite. I was born in west tx, lived in north tx for 40 years, and now call the hill country my home. Thanks for all the kind words from everybody.

Welcome from Oz. Lovely bike, great to hear that you have some hills to play on it with :good: :moped: :clapping: :salute:

The seat is a Corbin 2 up, not the solo saddle. My wife likes to ride along and she needs to be comfortable. It works perfectly with the grab bar. Corbin custom makes the seat for your specific height, weight, and of course the bike type. I'm really happy I splurged on that.

I do love the look of that seat but it likely costs more than two of my bikes. I see the mufflers are changed also what other mods and upgrades have you installed?

Welcome to the forums from Washington State! Lovely oldwing you have there!
