Hello from Pittsburgh, PA I am Moe and new to this site. I just purchased a very good condition 1982 Goldwing, I also ride a Victory Sport Cruiser. One of the issue I have is that I need to replace the fairing, I have a replacement fairing and will be having it painted to match wing. I will need to rewire the electrical in the fairing can anyone give me some guidance on the wiring diagram. any help would be appreciated.

Hi Moe, welcome to the forum.

I' did a few searches but we need to identify which Vetter you have.
Is there a nameplate on either one?

Thanks for the heads-up, there are no labels on fairing but I think it is a hondaline fairing. By looking at another site it stated that to get to the wiring you remove the turn-signal assy and fairing pockets, and that is correct for my fairing. Also both fairings have the large HONDA emblem displayed. So I think I am closer to figuring the wiring diagram.

Hey Moe, hey Moe . Welcome to the best classic Goldwings forum.

Welcome to Classics neighbor. Pictures help a lot. Not saying that we are visual people, but we really are.
I think I have figured it out, was just looking at a Hondaline manual I found online and it explains most of the steps. I will be buying a stereo and speakers, but first I have a neighbor who is going to paint the fairing to match the rest of my bike. Things are looking up will keep you all posted.

Welcome aboard moe! I'm only about an hour west of you in Ohio.

Where are you located in Ohio, are you close to Warren. I am originally from Cleveland and my wife is from Warren, Ohio. Being that close we should hook-up this summer and take a cruise.

A bit closer than Warren. Just a few miles west of Steubenville. Pm me anytime. I'm about two miles from the route 22 and route 43 intersection.
