Hello from the UK

[Brizzle boy]

Hi folks new member from the UK here. I live in Bristol hence the usser name Brizzle boy, i've recently got my hands on a 1981 GL1100 Interstate. Which is in very poor condition at the moment, the guy i got it off decided he didnt like it with fairing and luggage on. So took it all off but left the electrics in a right mess. Now the cold dark winters nights have set in here i'll have enough time to sort the bike out.
Im hoping when i get stuck into sorting the gl out the good members of this forum will be able to offer tips and advice, should i get into difficulties.
