Usually the worst that happens most times with road rage is that some guy yells at you from behind his steering wheel, and maybe he makes faces, or displays some obscene gestures, but that's all fine because nothing ever happens. This is not one of those times.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are currently searching for the driver of this Honda Accord, who left a fellow motorist with serious injuries after he ran him over, seemingly for no reason. Surely there's more to that story, you would think, but even the LVMPD's press release makes it seem like a big deal was made about nothing:
The investigation revealed just prior to the incident the victim drove into the station lot when a gray Honda Accord pulled in front of him, causing the victim to drive around the Accord to avoid an accident. As the victim was walking from the gas pumps towards the store, the suspect vehicle drove around the parking lot and approached the victim at a high rate of speed.
Yeah. Would you seriously injure someone if they walked around you on the sidewalk? I don't think so. There is zero excuse for road rage, especially of this nature.
The victim was taken to UMC Trauma Center, after the Accord ran directly over his legs. The driver is being sought on charges of attempted murder. So far, these are the only details the cops have about the suspect:
The suspect vehicle is described as a 2010 or 2011 dark gray Honda Accord with tint on the rear windows only. The vehicle has a California license plate that begins with "6C". The driver could only be described as a white male in his 30's with a medium build and he was last seen wearing a gray hoodie.
The incident occured February 6th, but with no leads coming up, the LVMPD has turned to the public.
