Well, my GL650I is finally home. I paid the taxes on Tuesday and waiting for the title from Harrisburg.
The tow company brought the bike home to its garage where it has a nice carpet in its bay.

Thank you everyone.
I've been waiting a long time for the day when my Baby Wing would come home. I will be going through a list of what parts are needed, what I want to do first and getting a service manual before I even start any major work. I know the choke cable is messed up, the brake fluid is yellow and the rear brakes are drum brakes.
I basically want original parts that look like they belong, its a 30+ year old bike and I am looking for what I call 'Seasoned' parts.
I am a member of the International Master Bike Builders Association where I currently hold Technician II certification. I have taken the test for Builder I but I'm shy 75 points for certification and this bike is my project for the 75 points. Vanity plate for life on the Rats Nest

I joined VJMC so that I could get club rego but as it was too restrictive ( club events and 15klm from home test and tune rides only) and I have now changed my rego to single seat (no pillion allowed) which is only about $40 a year more and no restrictions on when I can ride. I will be heading off tomorrow morning for our Saturday coffee meet up at Springwood Suzuki which is classified as a club ride. :yes:

It is the same one as the SilverWing. I guess all the GL parts can be swapped. I know the fairing parts are interchangeable.
