howdy all ...been in the very long rode test with hooch .....probably ptting in close to a 1000 miles a week ...bike is using no fluids but gas....seems it likes that stuff ...but i have cracked the 40mpg zone a few times...im happy about that ....the dft 24-25 is doing well ...plain and simple on my bike the idle circut is just to big at idle ...ive really got it tricked as small as i can get it on te rode like i am ...but overall at idle its doing well....everywhere else it seems to be in the zone of perfect...

power is huge ...today me and my daughter cristy rode to the beach and when we played a little ....hooch broght the front wheel up in second gear ....third really showed the muscle as 100mph was hit quicly ....i wsnt even grabing full throttle...two up on hooch is like a safty device to keep the bike from spinning the tire and chassy jacking from the shaft drive....christy had enough and wanted no part of forth gear...lol

it has proved to be the most reliable wing ive ever rode ....the c5 is running well and never causes a problem at all....my advance is huge i am thinking its 45 degrees ...seems hooch could handle more ..nver no sign of pinging at the 45 advance setting ...seems the c5 and weber combo brings huge low end power to this early 1000 no low end cam hooch has......

so the hooch bike is quite the real deal ....reliable....rocket hunter power....this bike will never look bad in the muscle department ....

going to back home in a few weeks .....hooch and the drum are having a good time ...been playing music a lot the last few days ...good to be able to post :yahoo: :thanks:
