:head bang: Hello, proud owner of a new / old wing. Bought seven months ago and has not been ridden yet. :rant: Grrrrr 1200 stator!!! Working on poorboy conversion wish me well. Looking foward to getting to know everyone.

Tough one....new stator.....poor boy. Either way you win! :clapping: (BTW, these engines are not that hard to pull if you wanted to replace the stator yourself!)

Welcome!! I think if my Stator took a dive, I'd do the alternator conversion, too. Good luck, take lots of pictures and share them with us!!
