I hate UNIONS!!!

One freakin mistake and I get a last chance suspension. I went through all the channels and in the end the union agreed with the company.

Unions are sucky, fer sher....or so I hear. I've never been in one. Sounds a lot like a HOA(Home Owner's Association), where they can pretty much do anything they want to you, to advance their own agenda.....

So this is a suspension, not a lay-off?

My brother worked for a few commercial electrical companies, all non union.
On jobs where there were union trades those *******s really stuck together.
Like the elevator operators. They'd block him from getting on knowing full well he only had a 1/2 hour lunch.
They'd sabotage trucks in the lot, cut off conduit runs, install their **** intensionally blocking his conduit runs.
I would never work union.

It WAS a suspension. it's been almost a year ago it happened. I went through their "grievance" process. All the steps. All the meetings. It was down to Arbitration and they dropped me. I never liked unions but it's required to join to be employed there. Work ethics in a union shop are really irritating to union boys. I hate working with all the ******* but it's one of the better paid jobs in the area. Same damn union I had pushing buggies at Krogers.

I just sent a message to God only knows at union national asking to talk with the national pres. Back to waiting now. One way or another I will stir up some ****. :head bang:

Unions have become what they originally fought...corruption. I know union people...when there is no work here they go to other states and steal jobs from union workers there, leap frogging over rules with the help of friends. Fat lazy ***** that laugh all the way to the bank, claiming they are the best, when actually their work is ****.

I got more respect for "Jose" working his ass off, for a third of the pay, with twice the quality of that fat **** with his shity beard sitting on his ass, cracking racial jokes at his expense.

I certainly can't argue with you on that. Even if I could I wouldn't because I see it much the same way. The problem around here is the jobs that pay a living wage are nearly all union shops.
