I honestly, this time, think I've finished it.

After 12 years of getting it where it is now and 2 years after first proclaiming it finished, I honestly believe it actually is now, today I installed the best exhaust system i've seen on ebay or anywhere else in at least 2 years, new throttle cables, a 9.7mm aspencade vented rear rotor and a brand new front brake reservoir, just for looks. I really don't know what else I can do to it.

Good thing really, because the work on the bike lately has become just that, work, and I don't want to do it any more! It runs, handles and stops just as good as the '82 standard I had in England in '84, but I have had enough!

I have put $10,000 into this bike and if someone came along to buy it that actually understood the work and money that has gone into it, (if that person exists,) I'd be very lucky if that person offered me a Grand for it, so for right now all i'm gonna do is.......

Ride that bad boy !!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on "finishing" it! However, if you're like me, it'll never be really finished! At least now you can enjoy it, and work on it when you actually want to work on it! RIDE ON!!!

Congrats! If you start to suffer withdrawals you can ride that beast up here and play meck a nick on one of mine. :smilie_happy:

Go ride :clapping: I'm still putting the HID headlight in mine. I've kept all the receipt's from day one when I started my restoration - $3000 plus the cost of the bike....
just always seems like 'just one more thing..." LOL

Still trying to tie up those loose ends!! But this is the last one.

Don't you guys ever believe me again, when I tell you it's finished. because it for sure never will be!

All that about being to damn old to deal with it anymore is exactly what it sounded like, B@ll$#!t!!!

Next winter it's getting a C5 whether I like it then or not and ya never know, a paint job could also be in the offing, but the main reason for this post is...

You guy's on this forum have been the main reason for where this beautiful bike is today, (others have helped) but this is the one that did the real job that I planned. Total reliability.

So next time I tell you it's finished..... Call me out Guys!!........... Cos you of all people, know!!

I'm wrong!!!!!!
