Progressive Suspensions make replacement rear shock springs for GL1100. It is a bit pricey side and you need to disassemble rear shocks for installation (there is a tutorial on this site).
Alternatively, you can try cheapy Tiwanese shocks. They are fairly stiff (both springs and damping).
I tried them on my XS750 and too stiff for me (I only weigh 140 Lbs and don't do much two-ups.)
Other XS750 riders reported they were stiff enough for two-up riding.
GL1100 is heavier than XS750 so there is no guarrantee..
