For weeks it has been unable to load my homepage(MSN TV listings) and it still gave me a blurred font on this site. I personally don't like IE even though many here like it as does my wife, so I tried Google Chrome and I really like it. It doesn't come with a toolbar, just favorites, forward, back, and homepage buttons the only ones I use anyway. Oh yeah, it's a fast loader.

IE was getting soooooo slow that it was actually a pain to use it. Went to Chrome and never looked back.
You can load tool bars, but I can't think off hand how to get there from here.
Also pock around the Chrome Web Store for apps to download. You can always uninstall something if you decide you don't like it.
What I have set up for my home page is "speed dial". Find it in chrome web store - extentions - accessibilty - speed dial.

I don't get it with Firefox.
Seems twice a week theres an update, and now it opens slow.
I.E is only slightly better.

If everyone used Chrome, I'd have less code tweaking to do.
Chrome is smart enough to know what to do with simple code.
I.E always needs to be massaged to look right.

I have been using Chrome for quite some time. Maybe that is why I never have the page loading issues you have in that other thread.

That could very well be, Gerry!

I tried Chrome a couple years ago, and wasn't happy with it....just dint have any features, other than the very basic stuff. And, at the time, I thing my AV program dint like it, either. Haven't tried it since, but I'm starting to not like FF myself....every friggin update has more and more issues. Iffin I dint know better, I'd think FF was a MS product..... :sensored: :smilie_happy:
I'm seriously considering installing Chrome again. :read:

Still using Firefox on the PC but it is still XP and it works great. I love the Netusage add on.

Here's something to try in Firefox. Fixed my blurry text issue.

With some graphics card and graphics driver setups, Firefox may crash or have trouble showing text or objects on pages when using hardware acceleration. You can try turning off hardware acceleration to see if it fixes the problem.

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options
Select the Advanced panel and the General tab.
Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Exit
Start Firefox the way you normally do.
