Just wondering how this could happen. Would be interesting to know how this was discovered. I've never heard it before. Have you ever lifted a dead body? For some reason they seem nearly twice as heavy as a live one. But I've never actually weighed anyone immediately before and after death. Curious thought, and kinda interesting if true.

true that gerry ...the internet is full of everything ...it can be hard sometime as we know on oldwing facts ...but i think it is the greatest thing to happen to real truth in our lifetime ...its great to be able to have access to all you guys opinions thoughts on things ...as we have made huge progress here on this forum in the care of oldwings ...and debunked some of the bs info out there also ....so there is bad info out there but its great to have it and good info to gain real knowledge and not be censored by some overlords that think they know best what i need access to ...... :cheeky: :mrgreen:

Pardon double post. Not to disparage what Joe posted, I've been in Nursing 20+ years and have moved many people that have past on and it almost always seems the dead weigh considerably more after they pass. Maybe that is where the term "dead-weight" comes from?

it seems its was done first in 1907 ...they put scales on the bed legs they were in and measured weight when alive ...and at the moment of death ...it seems the test were repeated and confermed in the 80 and 90s but on both accounts test were distoyed and belittled by the main stream science ...is all i could find ...and reported in this post as things seemed to go down on the subject ....the religous and the science people both came out rather strong in denial of the tests as real or accurate ...this is the investigative reporter from classic wings joe gumshoe ... :smilie_happy: :fishin: :music: :mrgreen: .

its seems articals of the test are just as suspect as the 1907 test were ...and 80nd 90 tests just disappeared when they were funded bigtime ...seems a lot like the global warming debate lies and cover up science :shock: :mrgreen:
