So...we're at the shop,a dn this woman comes in and says her son was killed in a motorcycle accident, and she needed to clear out his house. She's got a transmission, and wanted to know if we wanted it, and to come get it if we did. Boss takes off to see what it is. He's gone for quite a while. Comes back about an hour later, with his truck FULL of crap....including the trans.
So...what did he get from the lady? A truckload of Indian motorcycle parts! All for free, just get it out of here.
A lot of this stuff is brand spankin NEW, still in OE boxes.
THREE sets of mufflers, including the originals(a little road rash on one of them), a new set in boxes, and another set of aftermarket mufflers. Also included is the complete exhaust..pipes, etc.
Three rims for a 2015-16 Chief, two with tires, front with a worn Dunlop, the rear one has a car tire mounted. One has no tire mounted. There is also another rim in the mix....it's a HONDA, with brake rotor. Not sure what it fits, but it may be a Valk.
A box with 3 seats, and a "bitch" pad. One for an Indian, two are HONDA seats(again, possibly Valk stuff).
Front fender for a '15-'16 Scout, dark purple/maroonish..really nice.
Brand new handlebar, still in box.
Complete air cleaner assembly.
Box of misc stuff, including the floorboards, pegs, shift & brake levers.
There was a box with enough gaskets, kits, and hard parts to build prolly 15-20 Holley carbataters...I'm keeping all that stuff! A lot of misc other stuff like tools, chrome tire valve stems, heim joint linkages(for tunnel ram intake/carbs), even a complete set of NEW small block Chebby lifters.
I'm takin my camera tomorrow to take pics of all this stuff. It'll most likely all be goin on ebay, or craigslist, once we positively identify what all of it fits.
Stole some pics from ebay to show what some of it is, for now...
Just a pic of a bike for reference....

Found out the parts are actually for a CHIEF, not a Scout, as I originally thought.

Well....according to the part #s on some of the stuff, it's for a 2014 Indian Chief. Still not sure on the Honda stuff, but I did take a bunch o pics, and I'll post them this evenin.
I forgot to mention there is also a brand new windshield for a '57-'60 Ford F-100 pu/panel van in the mix. :good:
Anyone here done any craigslist sellin? Boss says he'll split everything wid me if I get it out there for sale, either ebay, or craigslist. Found the new set of mufflers are sellin for $350 on ebay. I've never done the craigslist thing, so I don't know what it entails....

Pics....

Sell it on CL by all means, too many of the V twin guys can be finicky or wanting to adapt parts on their project bike, they buy the part..doesn't fit and want to send it back, or pay the price then say there is something wrong with it and want a partial refund, do try everything on CL first.
Easy as pie just need an email address, go to CL and on the left upper menu is "post to classified", hit it and follow the directions, takes 2 minutes...upload your photos from your machine, just press "choose photo and it will open a window then click wherever you stored them. after all is done it will send an email to you then open it and click "agree"
your done and the ad is posted.
I get some spam text and emails so I usually say phone calls only but sometimes email I answer, just too many fakes and flakes hide behind texting and email, serious people call.
