Install markland driver backrest?

Hey wingnuts:

Happy thanksgiving!

I just acquired a mint markland backrest with all the hardware. I have replaced the cotter pins with ring clips to try to avoid the horrors of braking and getting stabbed by the cotter pins. Does anyone know how to install this thing? I've been puzzling and puzzling and I finally decided to ask for help before I kill myself.

Is that the backrest with half moon brackets?
Those 2 brackets clamp to the frame by the seat with 4 hose clamps.

I think ..take the seat off and it will mount rather easy .. ..if you have more problems will get a pic of one and post it here

Ya....the seat will have to come off first. Batteries in my camera are dead, but I might have a pic or two of mine mounted... :builder:

Found these, but not very good. You can see the mount, and the hose clamp in this pic, right where the roll of blue tape is...if it gives you an idea of how they go...

The backrest mounts with the bar feet pointing forward so it can fold out of the way when the passenger gets on

Thanks boys! I popped the seat off and looked at the pics - it seems as straightforward as indicated. I just need to grab some hoseclamps to finish the job.
