Oh yeah, commuting to work was fantastic...but last night, last night I went for a night cruise. It was about 78F and no wind. I was about half way along my chosen route when I realized my cheeks were aching, I chuckled to myself and tried to wipe the shit-eating grin off my face.

I don't love this bike...I'm IN love with it. :lust:

Congratulations, beautiful bike!
Speaking of aaooogah horns, a few yrs ago I was at a bike gathering and a guy had installed a honest to god freight train horn on his GL 1000. His buddy worked for Southern Pacific and had access to surplus parts.
Enjoy that sweet, smooth ride you have there.

"O", the more you ride it ,the more you will love it. I have a rule, I will not carry a passenger with me on a new to me bike until I have put 500 miles on it. alone. Did it in 2 days. The trip home with the 1500 was 601 miles. the first trip with the wife was 456miles in one day. She loves it. Planning a trip on it to Medford Oregon to visit family straight up I-5 335 miles. Planning to do a lot of touring on it as time and money permit.
