sure dan the doghouse has a roof ....if you look at the pics you can see the striped 83 hooked by a chain some time back i use it as a stress test for the roof trusses i made and pull it up in the air ....theres a three ton chain hoist mounted in the roof truss .....thats probably 600 lbs about 18ft from the nearest post that was a good stress test it passed without even creaking or moving at all .....

ive got a pretty good load of used lumber mostly 2x6s ...they will make the doors and end walls that you can see in the one photo each door will be 9ft wide and 16ft tall on angle with another one beside it for 18ft wide doors...there will be a set ateach end of the building ....

as you can see on some of the end framing and the sides will incorperate the foundation in the walls ....you might be able to drive through it but you wont be able to knock it down ....it will all be one piece....maybe by spring it will be real close to done

See Joe...it ain't that hard to do, is it? :smilie_happy:

It's apparently a big enough event that your accomplishment is now in the announcement banner! :smilie_happy: :clapping:
Glad you got it figured out, anyway, and the pics are great! :thanks:

Hey Joe, if I were you, I would keep an eye out for that wild looking dude in your picture. If I had somebody who looked like that wandering around my property, I would set some traps. :smilie_happy:

Seriously, that doghouse looks awful nice.

thanks ron ....the doghouse has still got a ways to go and as you can tell were in the no sweat zone for awhile

Joe, I look at your doghouse pics and visualize the finished results ahead of time. I'm root'n for ya because I feel seriously deprived of "man space" in my life. But....you know how that goes. The grass is always greener somewhere else.
