Some where I saw a thread for putting a kick stand warning light, on a 1100.
I can not find it any where.

Can any one tell me what I need to put a magnetic type switch on the kick stand and a light on the dash. This is to ensure I quit riding off with my kick stand down.

I, being an electrical idiot, would like for some one to tell me what parts I need and hope fully where to get the required parts.

The Bates, or look-a-like must be best. With two artificial hips, I could not put mine up on the ctr stand without considerable pain. I keep the rubber on mine up to spec, but I still forget. One of these days I'll probably lose it, or worse, lose it enough to knock a fellow rider down.

Maybe need some kind of acronym that's easy to remember for pre-go. I've rode off with stand down, I just keep looking down b4 I start. Rode off with helmet unsecured, gloves not lashed down, jacket not zipped how I wanted. Seems like there may be something else, can't remember, haha! Don't seem to have the same problem for pre-ride check, wonder why?
