Thanks for buying that before I changed my mind, Now just get an 1100 to go with your hitch :mrgreen:

I have extra parts for the 1100 and I know how to work on an 1100. This valk is an entirely different beast to work on.

You are correct slabghost. I have the $$ saved up. Now if he has not sold it yet. I do want to get another 1100. I do have to sell the valk first before I get another bike. No space in the garage.

It seems that hitches for a Standard are hard to find, so they are prices accordingly.

I would like to find an 83 wing. The one around the coroner from me is an 82. It is in decent shape. The paint is all original and still looks new.
The carbs were just rebuilt

I have already contemplated having a pulley machined with little beavers blue prints. So I can add the alternator.

Could do what Joe and Brian have and install a 1200 rear and darkside it. That should give you 83 gearing or better.
