I'd like to know just how the suspension and brakes were done. No desire at all to compete with this build but half the top speed will keep up with traffic.

When I was a teenager I had a go cart with a 250 cc 2 stroke would top out over 40 mph. What a blast that was to drive. 40 mph is plenty fast sitting an inch above the road!

Yep,
The sensation of speed is much greater when you're low to the ground or even water. 55 mph seemed pretty fast in my bassboat, it was shallow and you sat down low to the waterline.
