Today I closed a deal to sell my 75 GL. I will miss the bike but I am only allowed one bike by "she who must be obeyed". I will be passing all the spare parts and pieces along to the new owner unless someone needs something real bad. The new guy is a youngster (24) who really loves the old bikes. I told him about this forum so if he shows up please make him feel welcome. I will still check in frequently to see how everyone is doing. In the meantime I'll just have to get by with my Valkyrie Interstate.

See Ya Guys

Well, Tim, I hope you do check in sometimes. Your Valkyrie is 6 years old now, so it's going on classic! That '75 is a beauty, it's the same color my '75 was. Let's hope the new owner takes good care of her!

Be safe out there!

Thankfully my better half couldn't care less how many bikes I have. Over a dozen now. not many ready to ride at the moment. But it keeps me out of the bars. :hihihi:

The nice thing about these old wings is you can usually pick up fixer-uppers pretty inexpensive, I've seen a few on CL lately for under $800, if only I had more money to rescue these old beauties.
