I'm not sure if I'd want my air mattress full of an air-fuel mixture. I heard a story years ago - probably not true - of a guy who used a spark plug pump to inflate a flat tire. A few days later, he deflated it to replace the tire. He was smoking, and when the 'air" hit the flame, the mixture inside the tire, which was under pressure, exploded and killed him.

OK, now back on topic!!

That's an urban legend, I guess. Interesting story.

Actually I think I can just hook up the inverter to Oldwing battery and pump the airbed with the engine rev'ing.

Again I got so used to auto camping and couldn't shake the habit.

My son will want to watch DVD in the tent and for that I guess lighter weight Lithium Iron battery will do..
Or revert back to good old reading books. LOL

I haven't commented until now although Skiri had contacted me via email and phone.
As Dan stated earlier, we had some issues with the 1100 modules not properly grounding simply by using the "hold down screws" and per Dan's suggestion we added an extra ground lead.
I was hoping it was a loose power lead to the coils (common issue) or poor ground. This can be dangerous with electronic ignitions because the "on-off" pulsing is very hard on parts. Skiri was patient and followed my suggestions, solving his own problem in a short amount of time.

Thanks to everyone who provided input. It was interesting to watch this thread grow as people jumped in to help. You guys rock!
:thanks:

Thank you Paul and everyone for your help!

I realize now that my memory is getting bad so taking lots of photos while doing things is absolute necessity.

You are a smart man. I have a one Terabyte hard drive with virtually everything I've ever designed saved. Once in awhile I've got to look at prototype photos to solve an issue that pops up months after we've finished a project.

What is a terabyte?
The terabyte is a multiple of the unit byte for digital information. The prefix tera represents the fourth power of 1000, and means 1012 in the International System of Units (SI), and therefore one terabyte is one trillion (short scale) bytes.

So don't feel bad!!

Kinda mind boggling - 1 terabyte = 1,000 gigabytes. 1 gigabyte = 1,000 megabytes. 1 megabyte = 1000 kilobytes. 1 kilobyte = 1,000 bytes. 1 byte = 8 bits. 1 bit is a 0 or a 1. Everything you see and hear on your computer, digital camera, flat-panel TV, iPod, etc, is nothing but 1's and 0's. Cool!
