Aren't the 1000 and 1100 pumps the same as the 1200's? Might be easier to find. I don't have any - sorry!

Did a parts number cross-reference, and the 1000, 1100, and 1200 all use the same replacement pump. Part # 19200-MG9-681.

They will interchange as whole pumps, other than that they are completely different, I'm talking bake lite versus metal impeller, if it's a metal impeller replacement in a 1000 or 1100 I can use it, just not a bake lite. Although it is possible to rebuild a bake lite, the success rate is not that great because the impeller develops hairline cracks and shatters when trying to tear the pump down.

No prob, here's a pic of the shafts, one on left is bake lite shaft and the one on right is metal impeller shaft. All the internals between the two are different diameters including the housing internal measurements. The only thing they share is length of shaft and outside measurements where the pump fits into the trans cover. Ain't it interesting what we get into ? So now I have a bake lite pump, with impeller in three pieces and a metal pump with a broker end shaft, that leaves me in need of some pumps, and also leaves me up cooling channel wid out a paddle. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Hurry up and find it Steve. I can't wait to see Mikes water pump rebuilding tutorial :good:

Thanks Mike. I am pretty sure that will be one of the first jobs on the Aspy when I finally get it home and start playing with it.
