That test makes the argument that motorcycle headlight lenses are alright for auto use. What I was saying was that because of the difference in the lens prisms the auto lenses would leave some dark areas in the light pattern when the bike is leaned over in a curve.

You hit the nail right on the head there Mover with regular car headlights. I did once try a 145 dia (7 inch) H4 driving light in an old Suzuki and what is known as a 'spot' beam was a about as much use as a candle in a hirrcane but the other half of the pair called a 'spread' beam was OK on high but faint on low.
