Welcome to the CGW forum Theo. Jump right in. Which year and model do you have? What repairs are already done? Got any pictures?

Welcome to the CGW Forums, Theo!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Thanks for the words of welcome.
My Gl is from '81.
I renenewed the forkseals and did the sticky frontbrakes.
One bleadingnipple broke so I had to buy one rebuild calliper.
In Holland there are enough spareparts to find.

Thank you all, for the welcome words.
The weather is becoming better in Holland here so I did several test-drives.
The bike runs well.
I have a little difficulty in using the centerstand.

Check the air pressure in the rear suspension. If its too low it will make it a lot harder to get the bike up on the center stand. It helps to ride up on to 2x4 to get little extra height.

or you could be like me and look like you could put the bike over your head by just strong arming it ....but the reality is sholder, back ,knees ,ankles and everything in between keeps the bike from getting on the center stand...ive seen midgits get my bike up on the centerstand and ten look at me like im a woossie :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: i guess there right :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: oh well ...the words dont bother me but if i pull something out it bothers me ....so i look forsome kid to put my bike on the centerstand and just take it :smilie_happy:
