I have read over a lot of articles here and have found them very helpful, Thank you for that.
About me and my bike I inherited a 1982 GL1100 after my dad passed away in 1999 and now I have been doing some work to it such as carbs rebuild and tank refurbish. It is a long story but my mom and her new husband had it for the past 4 years and basically let it sit and thats what happened to the tank and carbs. Like I said I found a lot of help here and look forward to having many years with my bike.

:thanks:

Welcome to the site from New Jersey! :clapping:

I like the name! I can't help everytime there is a crowd of people and it goes quiet for a few seconds, ya gotta yell "Freebird"! :smilie_happy:

(BTW...I know some of you guys might not have seen this, but the Pixar Movie "CARS" there is the scene where Lightning McQueen has to talk to the "Rusteeze" crowd and just as the lights go down and the spotlight comes on him, you can hear someone in the back of the crowd (of Cars) yell Freebird"!)
