Would like to introduce this machinist/ welder originally from Tucson AZ. I recently retired to Roseburg, Oregon and picked up an 1981 & 1982 gold wings. One I hope to get back on the road shortly and one is a long term project that will hopefully keep me out of the bars. I p/u the '81 in March and was going to ride this spring. I started going through minor PM and haven't stopped taking parts off it yet. Probably be end of July before everything is sorted out. Starter solenoid wiring and alternator wiring and spark plug wires all had to be R&R. Lots of hoses to replace next. I sure am grateful to all of you that make this board possible and hope to be a contributing member as time goes by. Thanks, Wayne M.
