I've had a 2005 Wing for 3 years and just purchased a 1983 GL1100 Standard with 21k miles. I'm looking forward to doing a little work on it for therapy. My spouse doesn't seem to think a man should have 2 motorcycles, but lots of men have more than one car! I'll post a picture of it soon.

Welcome to the CGW Forums, patcoburn !!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Welcome aboard. More than one bike at a time is great. I have several. One wife at a time is all I can handle though.

I bought the last bike I will ever need about 40 years ago and can't remember how many since then, but now I only have a small stable of 8 and the wife. Of course the kids are gone now so that removed thier 3 bikes about 18 years ago. And I still have 2 vans, 1 truck, bike trailer, travel trailer, and 3 bicycles, 4 chain saws, 2 generators and a garage full of junk collected over the last 45 years. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: :good: :Egyptian: :Egyptian:

Thanks for all the nice welcomes. I wanted to share some of your comments with my wife but I decided not to press my luck. She doesn't like me having two bikes, or even one for that matter, but at least she is still talking to me. I'll just keep answering "yes dear" and hope for the best.

welcome to the site, I feel that every guy that loves these bikes should have two, One for street riding around town ect. and one to tour with, Naked and not naked, should be a rule, Naw should be a goldwing law, :smilie_happy: I'm thinking of getting another for street and I wish to customize it my way....Use that for reasoning, just tell her it's a rule that Littlebeaver said.. :smilie_happy:

I like how you think. I think I want a nekkid wing just as a messin around kind of bike.

I now have both. Now if it will just warm up a bit so I can first ride the dresser and then the "naked" one. When you freeze your butt off on the dresser you aren't tempted to ride the nude one! :moped:
