Hi Dan and all you members! :)

I am back again..got sidetracks with other things and the rig has not been my first priority. To be honest, I found out how nice it was to camp and travel in my little shorty AstroVan Chinook conversion instead of a tent...I know, kinda WIMPY but hey...I'm getting old and decrepit...67 the end of the month, ridden hard and put away wet too many times.

BUT.... with renewed interest, I have decided to go ahead with a project I had once planned and have most of the parts and odds and ends for.

I have a really nice titled frame without the stupid engine guard dings/squishes on it that I am getting bead blasted and powder coated soon. Also have an entire drive train off a donor bike with less miles and better care than my tired current hack tug. I have over 200k on the current bike. Anyway, I plan to just freshen it up the engine and install the drive train in the newly rehabbed frame.

It will replace the current tug and will have all the goodies of the rig....Steerite triple tree, auto wheel and tire on rear, etc.

Should be fun and I am interested again...

I will do some looking on here and see what you all are up to....

Hey Brian! great to see you!!

Projects are GOOOD! :good:

Hi folks and thanks for the nice welcome....I really enjoyed the site before and was on it pretty early when Dan started it. I feel bad that I didn't stay more in touch Dan. Sorry and will do better from now on. Thanks for your concern however all is well with my wife and I.
My wife took a job in Montana so I became a snowbird and spend a lot of time on the road....she just now got a job offer to transfer to Durango, CO and we think she will take it and be a lot closer to our home here. Great riding country the four-corners area.
For those who don't know, my wife Kathleen (Kit) Kemsley writes often for Rider magazine so keep an eye open for her articles if you take the mag.
I don't remember all what has taken place since I was here last in my life except some nice world travel that took us to Thailand and Africa so that was cool. I got pretty sick in Thailand with pneumonia but handled Africa just fine.
So I will keep you all posted on the project and will very probably be asking for help along the way....
Thanks for being here and having me back...
be well,
Brian in NM

That is nice to hear Dan. Dina is still doing good and riding with me...

I just dropped my nice donor frame and swing arm off at a place called "Images n' Iron" in Las Cruces today for a media blasting and powder coating...feels good to make the commitment! They make a line of the big V8 trikes we see around New Mexico...and take work in between the trikes....

Check these out....
