Robert from Portland,OR. just bought it and getting motorcycle endorsement in two weeks. Looking forward to riding with my wife. Woohoo!

absolutely gonna wait till I am fully comfortable on the bike. Awesome advice! Thanks for the welcome.

this advice goes a long long way. I never thought about it but it's solid advice.

I have actually just switched from a, shhhh don't tell anyone here, a ninja 650r for the purposes of being able to ride with my wife and daughter (clearly not at the same time). So I will be surely putting in my time to gain comfort before taking them on with me. I have to say this is a huge change for me. This bike ....for lack of a better word ...is a tank. certainly not what i'm use to.

Welcome from central Calif. I make it a habit to put a 500 mils on a new to me bike before caring a passenger. That gives me time to adjust to new bike. Just my quirk.

Here's a pic!
