I picked up a new project. A 1982 CB900F
I should not have done it but it was cheap and I could not help myself.
It is a project but it is all there including a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 exhuast. It will need some assembly and paint but should make a nice retro sport tourer for me.

With the 400F almost back together again I will be ready to start on it this spring maybe.

Thanks dan,I sure hope it turns out to be.
One of these days my wife is going to come out to the barn and see what Ive been up to. :beg:

i had a 82 750F it was in perfect shape and all black like yours ...black motor ...nice bike but way top heavy for me ...had kerker four into one on it and never did enything better than haul butt quickly .....i never like the handleing and realy what myself on it :moped:

No low high range, that was on the C (custom) models. The F bikes where the Super Sports.

Joe,I have a couple friends with similar bikes, one has an 83 1100F and the other has a 79 750F.Both the same basic bike as the 900F.They have always been real happy with the versabilty of there bikes.I have riden the 750 and was impressed with the room and size of the bike. But then again matbe Ive been spending to much time on my little bikes and not enough time on the wing. :salute:

congrats tory. we will have simular projects going this summer. i'm done with the brake work on the 750f and will be working on the750 super-K when the weather breaks. whats a super-K mine is a '79 cb750k with an '82 900f motor in the frame, 79 750f front suspension, and rear swingarm on it

Sounds like a cool project.I would love to see pictures.Especially of the SUPER K.
when i first started it was just a 750k with the 900 motor, it looked sooo stock. even with the 750f suspension pieces it looks very stock. as soon as i can get some pic's i'll post them, i don't know where the old pic's are

Might be a better sidecar tug than GL?

BTW, are you partial to Honda or just happened to find Hondas.

This past weekend I rode XR100 on a desert dry lake bed. Was really nice witout getting too danderous. I want one!
