:clapping: Congratulations! Don't burn this one up trying to get the bugs and gremlins moved out. :whistling:
Wow you leave the exhaust on, I remove mine just to have more room to work, but one thing I do different is this, I put the bike on the centerstand and I have never had a issue finding the hole.....No Jokes now...don't go there.. Guy's... :shock:dan filipi":1x0s6jy2 said:That second link shows exhaust being dropped on a 1000 to pull the starter.
Is that necessary?
Not so on an 1100.
Also the 1100 chain and sprocket cannot move like described then requiring engine removal. Don't know about the 1000.
Wow, it's never taken me more than 5 minutes, maybe the o-ring needs to slide in better, I used my tire lube solution stuff I get from Napa and put some on the o'ring so it slides in with ease and it won't hurt the rubber. Are you getting it into the gear hole ok and it's just not going in tight...?chasrogers":adhrnxzs said:I have been fighting with a new starter for hours and still can not get it lined up very tightlittlebeaver":adhrnxzs said:Wow you leave the exhaust on, I remove mine just to have more room to work, but one thing I do different is this, I put the bike on the centerstand and I have never had a issue finding the hole.....No Jokes now...don't go there..
