New to CGW

Hello, my name is Rob and I'm from SW Washington state. I'm 46 and just bought my 1st goldwing, a vintage 1978 GL 1000, it was sitting from 2008 until a few weeks ago, but it is complete. I rode as a youngster, then life happened and next thing I knew 24 years had gone by and I didn't have a bike! I picked up this beauty for $650 and have only had to put about another $150 into it. I can't wait to get her out on the road again!

I'm still deciding on a new color, my dad had an XS1100 with this same set-up so I'd thought about doing it in his color, deep blue metallic, but my mom said something about my bike being "eerily similar" to my dads so a different shade may be in order.
