New here, recently purchased 1984 Aspencade with Trippe kit . Hate to admit my age was a factor for the purchase. Not ready to give up riding . Have ridden friends Gold Wings in the past and really liked them . But I am short and always felt that seat height was too tall to put my feet solidly on the ground . I like the extra wheels , handling characteristics sure are different . Have owned bikes since the mid 1960's , started with a !958 Cushman Eagle and went from there . Have had many bikes over the years and enjoyed each one .

Welcome from Oz. I like the idea of Landing Legs when my bike gets too hard to handle just not sure about the price. As long as you still get to ride I don't think it matters how you get there! :moped: :good: :salute:

Welcome from N.Western, Pa :hi: I ride with a friend that's 87 yrs. young that has put a Voyager trike kit on his 94 Interstate, yeah we have to slow down in the twisties BUT he's still wheelin :music: :music: :music: :music:

Welcome to the asylum, :hi: love both my 84 standards, best summer weather bikes ever owned, :yahoo: full dressed ones for cooler weather extend the season on both ends here in Ohio. :salute:

Oh no you didn't.
Perpetuating the old motorcyclist equals Goldwing rider thing.

Umm, I guess there is a measure of truth in every stereotype.
Old guys rule. (Or they should)

It is kind of true about the stereotype, I wouldn't have been caught on a Goldwing in my 20's or 30's, but now I look at a crotch-rocket and they just look like they hurt to sit on them! On the other hand, I have a buddy that's been riding his '78 wing since we were in our mid 20's, he's had lots of other bikes and he still rides a rocket today, but his trusty oldwing is still there!
