New to the gl1100 & will need tons of help

cheers to all in this forum! been owning and riding a wide variety of 2 wheelers over the past 40 years but this is my first wing. I am looking forward to gleaning the knowledge and tips from all of you seasoned wingers. This machine is a little different and I'm already puzzled, befuddled, and generally confused. Every wing owner I've ever bumped into out on the road has always bragged about the ride and the dependabilty of their wing. They are usually the ones that stop and help while I'm pasting, taping or bolting parts back on the old nasty fatboy that I've been riding for the last 6 yrs...chip

Welcome from central Calif chip . was up arounf the Everett area in the early 60s, actually Fort Lewis to be exact . Had a friend that lived in Everett though.. Nice area. My son lives in Desmoines (I think that is how it is spelled)
