Hi from a new uk winger.

I have just bought my first wing and joined this site after reading some as the posts as a lurker lol.

You guys sure know your stuff.

My name is Jay and I am from blackpool uk

I have a white 1200 interstate that was imported form the US some years ago. She wants a bit of care but looks good for her age.

Carb rebuild first job due to poor power and rough idling.

So far tho I love the bike and had a 200mile trip on her first day after picking up.

Apart from a slight brown trousers moment when I let go of the bars to have a stretch and it had a wobble it's all good.

So huy guys and the drinks are on me :salute:

Welcome from Oz. Good thing you arrived Jay as I was starting to get thirsty...

hey guys cheers again.

wouldnt say goldwings were rare but they seem to be sunny day bikes. its a big old bike to hustle around some of our streets. i would guess they are as rare as corners in the US :hihihi:

i am off to a bbq next month that the local wing club are organising so will take some pics and see how it gos.

where in texas are the two members from? we are over in san antone towards the end of the year visiting a mate and hopefully hiring a bike for a week so any recomendations of a good hire place would be good

Welcome to the forum from California. Check your tires, rear wheel axle tourque front and rear, check alignment ect..I have heard it isnt as normal to get shake in the bars, I know many have it but there are some that dont and leads me to think there is something just barely off on many wings, need to find why mine shakes too.
